As the nation prepared for her final goodbye to former president Corazon "Cory" Aquino, celebrities close to the Aquino family attended the final funeral Mass for the ex-president. Spotted in the event were actors Richard Gomez and Lucy Torres-Gomez, Ben Chan, singers Erik Santos, Sarah Geronimo and Jed Madela and APO members Jim Paredes and Boboy Garovillo. Actor Piolo Pascual, international artist Leah Salonga and friend of Aquino family, Ms. Zsa Zsa Padilla, were also present and will be offering songs for the late president. ABS-CBN executives Charo Santos-Concio and Eugenio "Gabby" Lopez III also paid their respects to the country's first woman president. The funeral Mass started at 9 a.m. and was attended by the former president's family and friends in and out of politics.
